We accept submissions year round. As an online journal geared specifically towards exploring the city, we accept poetry, essays, fiction, and creative nonfiction related to this subject. Photography and art relating to the city and the city experience is also welcome. You can explore any themes or issues in your work, as long as they are related to a city or cities in some way. Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please inform us if you learn your submission will be published elsewhere.
ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY: Please send your photos and art in jpeg, gif, or png format via duotrope. Please limit your submission to 20 photographs and 3 pieces of artwork.
FICTION: All forms of previously unpublished fiction is accepted. Please submit via duotrope. Word count limit for submissions is 2500 words.
POETRY: All forms of previously unpublished poetry is accepted. Please submit via duotrope. Limit 3 poems per submission.
CREATIVE NONFICTION: All forms of previously unpublished creative nonfiction is accepted. Please submit via duotrope. Word count limit for submissions is 2500 words.
