We accept submissions year round. As an online journal geared specifically towards exploring the city, we accept poetry, essays, fiction, and creative nonfiction related to this subject. Photography and art relating to the city and the city experience is also welcome. You can explore any themes or issues in your work, as long as they are related to a city or cities in some way. Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please inform us if you learn your submission will be published elsewhere.

FICTION: All forms of previously unpublished fiction is accepted. Please submit up to twenty-five hundred words in a single Microsoft Word document. Email to thecitykey@hotmail.com.
